Gabriola Island is one of many Gulf islands, situated in the Strait of Georgia, between the Sunshine Coast of the Canadian mainland and Vancouver island. Just a twenty minute ferry journey from the busy down town Nanaimo. The island has easy access for both foot and vehicle traffic. A haven for artists representing all the creative arts. I’m told there is a very special calming, tranquil healing energy to be found on this tree covered, sandstone rock, with its beautiful beaches and engraved sandstone coastline.
Just 57.6 km² with a population of approximately 5000.
